QIQI HUANG — TO GO
In today’s quick and fast living life, many things are designed for people to use once and throw away. People are not paying enough attention to how fast they throw away things, that could be used more than once before they discard them. This photographic project addresses everyday consumption of disposable objects, for example; paper cups, bubble wrap, and plastic bags. The work features myself wearing sculptural constructs made with the disposable objects. The project aims to raise awareness of how often people unconsciously use and throw away these objects.
