Renate Aller is currently exhibiting two photographs from her Seascapes—One Location series at the John Cleary Gallery (Houston) in a group exhibition . The exhibition continues through September 4, 2010.

Renate Aller is currently exhibiting at the Chiaroscuro Gallery in Sant Fe (NM), with a solo show entitled Ocean View — One View — Ten Years. The exhibition continues through July 3. Her work is also featured on the cover of Pasatiempo (issue June 11-17), accompanied by a feature article.

FEBRUARY 2010

Renate Aller is currently showing work from the Seascape: One Location series at the Chirascuro Gallery in Santa Fe (NM), as part of a group exhibition entitled Winter Mix. The exhibition continues through to February 20th, 2010.

We are very pleased to announce that a selection of photographs from the Seascape series, by Renate Aller, have been placed into the photography collection of the George Eastman House of Photography and Film.

MARCH 2009

Renate Aller has been nominated for the 2009 Leopold Godowsky Jr Photography Awards, administered by the Photographic Resource Center (Boston, MA). The award honors and encourages excellence and creativity in contemporary color photography. The jurors include the PRC curatorial team, together with the 2009 guest jurors: William Ewing (Director, Musée de l Elysée, Lausanne, Switzerland) and Hannah Frieser (Director, Light Work, Syracuse, New York). Winners will be awarded with an exhibition at the PRC opening in November 2009 with an accompanying publication and a cash award of $2,500.

Renate Aller has received an Honorary Mention in the PX3 Prix De La Photographie Paris for her images Seascapes: One Location.
